Q: What are the benefits of joining?
A: Buffalo Ski Club offers a safe and fun, family-oriented environment for kids and adults to enjoy. In addition to getting great rates on family skiing all season, only members can join our group lesson programs such as Extreme Team, Club and Council Racing, Mountain Rangers, Snowboard Rangers, Freestyle and Adventure Kids. Members also receive reduced rates on private lessons and guest passes all season long. In addition, we hold members-only special events throughout the ski season, as well as events throughout the warmer months, too, like members-only camping and barbecues during the summer. In addition, the family season pass rate is a great deal for families that ski and board together throughout the winter!

Q: What's the difference between the initiation fee and the family season pass fee?
A: The initiation fee is a one-time, lifetime, non-transferable fee for membership to the Buffalo Ski Club. The family season pass fee is an annual fee that covers season passes for your family. This fee is reduced based on length of membership, so the longer you're with BSC, the less you pay for your season passes. For example, the family season pass rate for years 2-5 is $1,649 per year for your entire family's passes; years 6-10 the rate is reduced to $1,349, and so on. In addition, each year you'll have the option to refer new trial membership families, which can earn you rebates of up to $500 per referral (up to, but not to exceed, the cost of your family season pass).

Q: What are my payment options for the initiation fee?
A: There are three options:

1. A single, one-time payment of $2,826.44 (inc. applicable tax)
2. Four payments of $734 (inc. applicable tax) to be charged on 3/3/13, 6/3/13, 9/3/13, and 12/3/13
3. Three annual installments of $1,105.63 (inc. applicable tax), charged on 3/4/13, 3/4/14, and 3/4/15

For Option 1, payment can be made by check, cash or credit card; for Options 2 and 3, a credit card must be used.

Q: What are my payment options for the family season pass fee?
A: There are three options:

•  Pay the family season pass in full by 4/1/13 and receive a 2% discount making your season pass of $1,149
Season pass discounted $500 for first year ($1649 reduced to $1149).

•  Four payments of $290.25 to be charged on 4/1/13, 7/1/13, and 10/1/13 and 12/1/13 ($12 service charge included)

•  Ten monthly payments of $117 to be charged on the first day of each month, April through January. ($21 service charge included)

For Option 1, payment can be made by check, cash or credit card; for Options 2 and 3, a credit card must be used.

Q : What if my family moves out of town?
A: Once you become a member of BSC, your family membership will always be valid. However, you won't be charged for family season passes unless you plan on skiing that year. If you move away and then move back and want ski, simply pay the family season pass rate for the year.
